Christmas at Home

Christmas at home this year was fun because Drew is old enough to really enjoy opening presents. He had a great time. When Blake got up he came tearing down the stairs so fast I couldn't even get a picture of him. He was only at our house until 9am and then he went to his dad's house for the rest of the day. Kai slept through opening the gifts. All of us had a really nice Christmas.

Christmas in Kentucky

This was our first Christmas with my biological mother (Cindy) who I met back in June of this year. We went to Kentucky to have Christmas with her, her husband Gary, my sister Jill and Jill's son Ryan. Ryan is almost the same age as Blake and the two of them really get along well together. We took our Nintendo Wii down with us and all of the guys and Jill spent much of their time playing games on that. Even Drew got in on that action - they gave him a Playstation remote to hold and whenever Rich or Gary would do something on the Wii game, Drew would yell "Drew did it!" There was one time where Drew disappeared for a little while and Rich found him in the dog cage. Somehow their very smart dog Maggie, convinced Drew to let her out of her cage and give her his cup of milk to carry around. Then closed the cage door with Drew in the cage and dumped all of her dog food all over the floor to make it look like Drew did all of that. There is a picture of that below. It was pretty funny. Everyone had a great time and it was the first of many Christmas's to come.

Christmas in Albany

Our first Christmas was at my parents house in Albany. The whole family was there together and it was a great day. Blake, Drew and Jacob had a really good time opening their gifts and playing with them. Next year Ethan and Kai will be heavily involved in the gift opening too but this year they were just too young. Blake and Jacob have become good buddies and spent the majority of the day together. Drew got into the cat litter and made one of the biggest messes we've ever had to clean up. Mom made up a scavenger hunt for Hannah, Esther, Rich, Joe and I and sent us all over the farm looking for our gifts. That was a lot of fun. Thanks Mom!!

Sarah in Jamaica!

On Thursday Dec. 11 - 14, I went with 2 of my girlfriends (Tara and Denna) to Montego Bay, Jamaica. It is beautiful there. It was a nice girls weekend. We got plenty of rest and relaxation. All 3 of us have 2 year old boys. We had a great time in the 85 degree weather over looking the Caribbean.
